Five boats destroyed, no casualties
In total, five yachts, measuring between ten and fifteen meters, were destroyed by the flames. Two others were also damaged.
The place, very popular for its bars and restaurants, was quickly filled with a large plume of smoke, as evidenced by the videos posted on X. No casualties were reported.

Opening of an investigation for intentional damage
Around thirty machines were mobilized to the site until 3 a.m. to put out the fire. Given the pollution generated during the incident, the port was closed on Thursday, May 2, for an indefinite period.
According to our colleagues at BFMTV Côte d’Azurthe Grasse public prosecutor’s office opened an investigation to “deliberate damage by fire”.
