On the Belflorissimo program
It is said that it is more prudent, to install your flower planters or start your garden, to wait for the passage of the ice saints, from May 11 to 13. But nothing stops you from preparing beforehand. By choosing your flowers, your vegetable plants… Visitors will have the choice, these May 4 and 5. Belflorissimo returns for its 40the editing.
To celebrate this anniversary, in addition to the 52 stands selling plants, crafts, wine and gastronomy, the public will have the opportunity to have their bins won by the municipal gardeners’ association. Children will be able to participate in workshops that are both educational and fun, such as makeup, repotting, preparing floral cakes or making decorations with recycled materials.
The flower market association will display all the posters of the event since its beginnings in 1983, and the Terrifortaine vintage vehicle association will present some “old” cars.
Sixteen ephemeral massifs will embellish walkers’ strolls between Place d’Armes and the Faubourg de France. They will remain in place until May 21.
