Who has the biggest wand? – Twelve bakers will try to beat the world record for the longest baguette, in (Hauts-de-Seine), this Sunday. For those with a sweet tooth, know that after cooking, it will be shared and spread with Nutella

Everyone knows, the best baguette is kneaded, baked and sold for more than a euro (ouch) in . Moreover, the best baguette in Paris was awarded last week to a bakery on rue Jean-Pierre-Timbaud. But this Sunday, Parisian bakers are tackling the world record for the longest baguette. During the Suresnes Baguette Show, organized with the national confederation of French bakery and pastries and Nutella, they will “attempt to bake in public a baguette measuring more than 132.62 m”, announces the press release for the event.

Since June 16, 2019, this record has been held by Italy but on Sunday, the twelve bakers, including five from Suresnes, plan to bring the baguette home. “This Suresnes Baguette Show will be held on the terrace of Fécheray […] with its panoramic view of Paris and the Eiffel Tower.

Eight hours of cooking
