Season 2024-2025: what shows to see in Haute-?

Rare artists on certain Upper Viennese stages during the 2024-2025 season.

In addition to the Zénith, other stages offer very attractive shows in Haute- in 2024 and 2025. Overview:

Jeanne Added

A leading figure on the French music scene, twice awarded the Victoires de la Musique, Jeanne Added is also a guest at the Limougeaud Éclats d’Émail festival.

Between electro and pop-rock, his music is feverish, his style full of sincerity. During this concert, the singer will revisit her repertoire in an acoustic version. On the program: lots of singing and lots of piano.

Keziah Jones

After ten years of absence from recording, his 2024 tour passes through and the Éclats d’Émail festival. “Melissa” is the single that this artist, native of Lagos, Nigeria, has just released as a preview of his new album in preparation.

His style, at the crossroads of blues, funk, rock, he himself called “blufunk”. He characterizes his talent as a guitar virtuoso where he mixes his influences, Miles Davis, Fela Kuti and Prince.

The Limoges public will rediscover the electric magnetism and social commitment of this warm-voiced artist.

Thomas Dutronc

Between purely acoustic musicalities and pop musicality, Thomas Dutronc returns to songs. The son of Jacques and Françoise will perform songs from his new album Il n’est rien trop tard. This somewhat melancholic album invites you to an introspective journey, with universal themes such as love, nostalgia and the quest for meaning. The emotion here is given with elegance. This concert will be given at the Espace Bayle in Isle, as part of the 30th anniversary of the Robert Margerit cultural center.

Her title Douce was named best original song at the Victoires de la Musique 2024. Clara Ysé is a rising star of new French song.

This author, composer, performer, with poetic and suave pop, will be in Limoges just after performing at the Olympia in . After the EP that got her noticed Le Monde s’a Dédouble in 2019, she released her first album in 2023, Oceano Nox.

She is also the author of a novel, Firing (Grasset, 2021).

No, this is not an error. The famous author of Ants, Tomorrow cats, La Diagonale des Reines and other successful novels, takes to the stage. He is accompanied on the harp by Vanessa Francoeur.

On stage, he does not exactly offer a show but rather an experience, an Domestic journeyas a sequel to its eponymous story.

It invites spectators to follow five guided mediations, through which everyone can return to their past, beyond their current life.

“The less funny, the funnier.” This is one of the mottos of comedian and actor Vincent Dedienne. So in his only-on-stage, A gala evening, humor is the common thread of his gallery of portraits.

He sketches those to whom little attention is generally paid, losers and other “sorrowful” people.

“After going around my navel in my previous show, I decided to go around yours a little… if it tickles, so much the better,” announces the star.

Puccini’s Tosca and Carmen at the Opera

The 2024-2025 season of the Limoges Opera is dedicated to women. Three shows reinvent our point of view on Carmen, Carmen in the Mountain by Sandrine Anglade (mars 2025)Carmen, court of assizes by Alexandra Lacroix (April 2025) and Carmen, landscape opera, created partly in the gardens of the Bishopric (June 2025).

Puccini’s Tosca is another big guest of the season, in the vision of Italian designer Silvia Paoli (mars 2025).

Creativity and inventiveness on the CDN program

Creativity, inventiveness and originality mark the season of the National Drama Center-Théâtre de l’Union in Limoges.

You can see an astonishing show with ice puppets, The Wavesafter Virginia Woolf by Elise Vigneron (mars 2025).

Joël Pommerat resumes Marius de Pagnol with former prisoners (January 2025). The tragedy Phaedra by Racine will be given in the contemporary vision of Matthieu Cruciani (December 2024).
