The Endarra college is experiencing a lot of activity during this school year. First with the completion, for the last school year, of major restructuring work, amounting to 7 million euros. There was also, a few weeks ago, the visit of Ambroise Fayolle, president of the European Investment Bank, who granted a preferential rate loan to the department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques, for the renovation of its colleges, of 72 million euros.
It did not take as much budget for Lucile Labonne, the establishment’s librarian teacher, to organize, on Saturday May 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the Endarra reception hall, a large public sale of manga and used comics. However, it took a certain amount of elbow grease and logistical support from the town of Anglet to put the meeting together.
“Many of our students like manga and comics,” explains Lucile Labonne. They were enthusiastic when I offered to organize this sale. »
Drawing competition
The administration of the establishment headed by Philippe Griffe validated the project. Lucile Labonne gathered around her a team of teachers and parents. “To promote this empty library we launched a drawing competition among all the students. A vote was then organized to designate the six best which were used to create posters, distributed around Endarra and disseminated by the students on social networks. », adds Cécile Labonne.
Around thirty tables will be set up to welcome the young exhibitors, but also six external collectors who responded to Endarra’s request.
