Murder of Filipina. The identity right will demonstrate in Angers, the anti-fascists too

On September 21, the lifeless body of Philippine, 19, was found in the Bois de Boulogne. Raped before being killed, the young woman had disappeared the day before. The main suspect is a 22-year-old Moroccan, already convicted of rape and subject to an Obligation to Leave French Territory (OQTF).

Call for gathering of the Chouan Movement and the Red

Enough to wake up the ultra-right who are calling for rallies in several municipalities in France. Two Angevin identity movements are joining in this mobilization. This is the local branch of the Red (right-wing student rally) and the Chouan Movement (named after the Anti-Republicans of the West who rose up against the Revolution) – whose Twitter account was temporarily restricted this Monday -, founded by Jean Eudes Gannat. He is also at the origin of the small far-right Angevin group – since dissolved by the Ministry of the Interior – L’Alvarium.

In Angers, a tribute in Philippine is therefore organized this Monday, September 30 at Place du Ralliement at 6:30 p.m. Beyond the drama that affected the student, Jean-Eudes Gannat affirms that all this could have never happened if the judges agreed to do their job.

Mobilization of anti-fascists against “instrumentalization”

In the process, the Angevin Anti-Fascist Network relayed a call to counter-mobilizationlaunched by the Angevin Antifascist Action, still in Angers but at Place Imbach, the same day at 6 p.m., against the racist exploitation of feminicides. The Raaf accuses the radical far right ofinstrumentalizes[r] pain using the scapegoat mechanism even though it is the enemy of the rights of women and sexual and gender minorities.

Neither demonstration was declared to the prefecture. This calls the participants in moderation. To ensure this, the national police forces will be deployed in the city center.

Prefect Philippe Chopin has banned in the city of Angers the carrying and transport without legitimate reason of weapons or objects which could constitute a weapon, the transport and use of fireworks, pyrotechnic articles as well as explosive products, precursors of explosives, fuels or products flammable or corrosive.
