Launched in 1985 in the United States and arrived in France in 1994Pink October is a month-long campaign dedicated to awareness, prevention and screening of breast cancer and those linked to papillomaviruses. If 1 in 8 women develop breast cancer during their lifetime, cancer of bedetected at a early stage, se heals in 9 out of 10 cases. “I League Against Cancer” by walking, running and riding a motorbike!

The charity event I League Against Cancer celebrates 10 ans Sunday October 6, 2024. This day, dedicated to the fight against female cancers, will offer 5 or 10 km races as well as a solidarity walk, a 1km children’s race et a motorcycle ridewith many activities. Women and men, young and old, with family, friends, lovers, colleagues, athletes or not, the event is for everyone! Top start in Argoulets. The Pink Burlesque Festival arrives in Toulouse October 4, 5 and 6 for a first edition full of sensuality and daring. This event highlights burlesque stripping with varied disciplines such as dance, circus, cabaret or DRAG. Beyond the show, the festival is joining forces with the Pink October campaign to raise awareness about breast cancer screening et raise funds for the Institut du Sein Grand Toulouse. Workshop, masterclass, thematic evenings and meetings will punctuate this meeting which celebrates self-reappropriation et femininity in all its forms.

Photobooth boobs

Sunday October 6, a photobooth day is organized at Mintaka & Co with the association Femmes, Like You to raise awareness of fight against breast cancer. Participants are invited to play the game with accessories highlighting their chest. For each ticket sold, €5 is donated to an association supporting the fight against cancer.
