Mecalac has deployed three 100% electric machines on the electrification of boats and cultural and sporting events at Pâquier in Annecy. An initiative which is part of the French manufacturer’s desire to promote environmentally friendly practices while guaranteeing optimal performance in the field.

The project in question has been taking place since March 11 and until the end of May and is intended to be an example of the energy transition. The three Mecalac electric machines, an e12 wheeled excavator, an eS1000 swing loader and an eMDX dumper, ensure emission-free operation, responding to the growing demand for more environmentally friendly solutions.

Thanks to these electric machines, the Pâquier site benefits not only from a significant reduction in on-site emissions, but also from a noise level generated by the machine divided by 10 compared to their traditional thermal equivalents.

“We are proud to participate in the realization of this “low carbon” project, in a location that is particularly close to our hearts.” In fact, our machines are designed and assembled locally in our Annecy factory.”explains Alexandre Marchetta, President of the Mecalac Group.

Coupled with other measures such as the reuse of excavated soil, the projected carbon footprint of the site drops by 25% compared to an equivalent site carried out with standard means and methods.
