Bulka (7): the Pole had his teeth. He intervened in front of Nzola (10′) and on Saïd’s rebound (12′) with authority, before diving into the feet of the Lens striker who was facing him (35′). The second half was quieter until Labeau-Lascary’s opportunity from close range (77′). The leaders did not consider that extending him was necessary, a heresy given his talent and his match.
Youssouf (5): armband on his arm, he failed to find the first restart to break his team block in the first period. It was easier afterwards even if the Burundian came out of his match without personal brilliance.
Bombito (5): his speed was again very valuable, in particular to make up for a poor trajectory reading against Saïd in the first period. The rest of his match, however, was very well managed.
Abdelmonem (3): warned for a late tackle, he was not ahead of his direct opponents either. A second appearance in Ligue 1 still delicate for the Egyptian, who will need time. Replaced by Dante (4) at half-time. The captain recovered his armband but lost his composure as the game progressed, receiving a yellow for a gesture of humor on Thomasson when he had been beaten several times in the depths.
Mendy (4): in difficulty defensively, he also did not exploit offensive spaces, particularly when he was in a good central position. Replaced by Clauss (score=5) at the break, who was sharper offensively to alert Samba of a cross shot. He also saved his side with a header on his defensive line (90′).
Boudaoui (4): twice he had the right situation to find the target from the heart of the area, he did not take advantage of it. For his return from injury, the Algerian had a lot of difficulty positioning himself in the first period to facilitate ball exits. Replaced by Louchet in added time.
Rosario (3): he had great difficulty keeping the ball under pressure and the Gym suffered in the first half. He did the job especially through placement since it was much more technically difficult yesterday.
Abdi (6): rather applied defensively, he made a superb return on Aguilar (83′). The former Caen player brilliantly made up for Bard’s absence, showing that he also knew how to defend in addition to his counter-attacking qualities.
Bouanani (4): his pivotal shot marks Nice’s most dangerous opportunity (28′) but there are many situations in which he can do better given his talent. Trying too hard to make a nice gesture, he missed the simplest ones before giving way at the very end of the match to Diop (89′).
Guessand (5): it took him half time to get the measure of the duel with Khusanov, very good yesterday. He recovered balls, carried the ball into danger at the edge of the artesian surface, without finding a single striking situation. He was deliberate if not decisive.
Boga (5): he played it too easy in sequence, but he is the only one capable of making a difference through dribbling. In the second half, he could have taken the direction of the goal to be more dangerous, before giving way to Moukoko (77′), who achieved practically nothing.
