Bindernheim. A “Road tour” day to learn about different sports

The French Sports for All Federation (FFSPT) and its regional committees are organizing the fourth edition of the “Sports for All Road Tour”. A truck and facilitators travel across France to raise awareness of the benefits of regular physical and sporting activity.

Young and old are invited to learn and discover numerous activities, known or lesser known, to find the activity suited to their needs and desires. One goal: for sport to become part of the daily lives of more French people!

In 2024, the Road Tour takes on particular importance: it is the year when physical activity is designated a Great National Cause by the government, in parallel with the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Through this traveling event, the mission of the FFSPT is to make sport a daily habit and to encourage the adoption of an active lifestyle.

Varied activities

This stop in Bindernheim offers a rich program: speedball, Nordic walking, kinball, wheelchair course, tchoukball, ultimate frisbee, qi gong and many other activities to discover. The Muttersholtz Gym and Health club, affiliated with the FFSPT, will offer conscious awakening and muscle strengthening from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

All these activities are free and open to all, sports instructors will be present at the Bindernheim intergenerational park this Friday, May 3, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
