Filming of ‘Giovannino Guareschi – I won’t die even if they kill me’, the first TV series focusing on the life of the famous Emilian writer who created unforgettable characters such as Don Camillo and Peppone, has recently started in Emilia-Romagna. The scenes are filmed in many locations throughout the province of Reggio Emilia.
Benedetta Cimatti
In the fiction, Benedetta Cimatti plays EnniaGuareschi’s wife (Giuseppe Zeno). The actress is originally from Faenza, where she was born in 1989. She celebrates her birthday on April 20th. At just twenty years old, she went to live and study in Rome where she took an entrance exam at a well-known entertainment training academy. Benedetta immediately passed the test and continued along that path. She then graduated in 2011 with top marks, continuing to appear on the theater stage.
