A Blast which echoed in the streets of Deuil-la-Barre (Val-d’Oise) on the evening of Friday April 26, 2024. It was shortly before 8:15 p.m. when the firefighters were alerted following theblast of a gas cylinder in the apartment kitchen from rue Pierre-Ronsard.

While the origin remains to be determined, it caused a fire to start in the home. Significant resources were dispatched by the Val-d’Oise departmental fire and rescue service (Sdis 95), twenty-seven firefighters having been mobilized.

Resident seriously burned

The latter deployed a spear to put out the flames. In the same way, they also took care of the occupant of the apartment, a 31-year-old man. Having been seriously burned, the latter received first aid on the spot before being evacuated in absolute emergency to the hospital center.

A rescue support and search unit (Usar) intervened to carry out a reconnaissance of the structure of the building. At the end of their inspection, it did not seem to have any impact, only one wall of the damaged apartment having been weakened, none.
