Eni ready to place two bond issues in USD

(Alliance News) – Eni Spa announced on Wednesday its intention to place today two new fixed-rate bond issues in US dollars, with maturities of 10 and 30 years.

The bond issuance follows the resolution adopted by the board of directors on April 4 and aims to maintain a balanced financial structure, and the proceeds will be used for Eni’s general purposes.

The bonds are intended for institutional investors and will be placed subject to market conditions. For the issuance, Eni is working with a syndicate of banks consisting of Barclays, BofA Securities, Citi, Goldman Sachs International, Intesa Sanpaolo, JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, Santander and Wells Fargo Securities, who will act as joint bookrunners.

Eni shares are down 1.1%, at 14.81 euros per share.
