For its 80th anniversary, Le Parisien entrusts the pen to more than 70 prestigious guests. Exceptional meetings, astonishing interviews, field reports, analysis of our survey “In the minds of the French”, offbeat columns… Journalists for a day at Le Parisien, they have all agreed to join our editorial team for a special issue to be found this Sunday in newsstands and on our site.

What an extraordinary interlude these Olympic Games are, from the opening ceremony on July 26 to the parade of athletes on September 14, we have experienced exceptional moments of harmony, of fraternity, with the immense pride of seeing enlighten the world, the immense pride of being French whatever our origins, our social backgrounds, our skin color, our beliefs, our orientations. And above all with the hope that it will never fall again.

What do we do with all this? “With these tears, with this joy,” as I wrote in the song “Qu’est-ce qu’on fait” the day after France’s victory in the 2018 World Cup, twenty years after our first star.
