As Stade Brestois prepares to discover the Champions League, with a first match on Thursday September 19 against Sturm Graz at Roudourou, Jocelyn Gourvennec has accepted, for West to share his experience of European jousts. There are two main changes. Having to play eight matches (instead of 6) and eight different opponents. I think the authorities made this choice to multiply the number of matches and, therefore, increase revenue. The negative side is that there will be fewer possible exploits. Because, in a group stage with two-way matches, there could be a few surprises. There, to qualify, it seems impossible to me over time. In the case of Brest, given the opponents, the exploit would be Dantesque.
