Tito Jackson, one of Michael Jackson's older brothers and a member of the legendary group the Jackson Five, died on Sunday, September 15, 2024, according to an announcement made by his three sons. Aged 70, the third member of the Jackson siblings, Tito was one of the key elements of the Jackson Five. This group that allowed the emergence of their famous brother Michael Jackson.
Known for producing several hits in the 70s, including “ABC”, “I want you back” and “I'II be there”, the Jackson Five consisted of Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael. Led by Joe Jackson, their guitarist father, this boy band became one of the biggest names in music in the United States and around the world.
Tito, whose real name was Toriano Adaryll Jackson, was the most discreet member of the group. He had several performances scheduled, including one on October 25 in Atlantic City and another on November 1 in Cincinnati.
Besides his children, Tito Jackson is survived by his brothers Jermaine, Randy, Marlon and Jackie, his sisters Janet, Rebbie and La Toya, and their mother, Katherine.
