After the LR rallying to Macronie, here is a Macronist supporting an LR. Is Edouard Philippe preparing to be the sole candidate in 2027 of Horizons and LR, a channel of feathered leaders? At least, Gérard Larcher’s shenanigans were easier to understand:

The local elected official indicated to Monde that he would lead his campaign on a ” LR and Horizons label », refusing to join the “Together for the Republic” initiative which should bring together the majority candidates. As a reminder, the formation of Édouard Philippe was registered in the Official Journal for these anticipated legislative elections under its own name, unlike the MoDem and Renaissance which are an integral part of the political grouping “Together”.
The candidate is the subject of an investigation opened by the Créteil public prosecutor’s office for possible conflict of interest in real estate projects.
