Has the mystery surrounding Dr Disrespect’s Twitch ban been solved? A former Twitch employee makes serious allegations against the streamer. But the doc counters.
Encinitas, California – In 2020, Dr Disrespect was very suddenly banned from the streaming platform Twitch. To date, it has never been said publicly what the streamer did to receive such a punishment. Even then, there were hints that something serious might have happened, but nothing more specific came to light. Now a former Twitch employee is posting what might have happened back then. Dr Disrespect is facing a serious accusation.

That happened: It has been four years since Dr Disrespect was banned on Twitch. The mystery surrounding his expulsion has remained unsolved ever since. But even then, fellow streamers seemed to know about the background. On the day Dr Disrespect was banned, Rod Breslau (Slasher), gaming insider and eSports consultant, posted the following on X (Twiiter):
Be careful: I have been hearing from trusted sources for several hours about the reason why Dr Disrespect was banned. But it is important to be careful and sensitive here because of the sensitivity of the topic. Therefore, I will not comment further on this. I do not feel comfortable with it at the moment.
Serious allegations against Dr Disrespect: These hints from Breslau might suddenly make sense now. Former Twitch employee Cody Conners has now written a post on X. This is intended to shed light on the mystery surrounding Dr Disrespect’s Twitch ban. The streamer is said to have written intimate messages to a minor. You can read Cody Conners’ post here:
He was banned because he was caught sending intimate messages to a minor on Twitch Whisper. He wanted to meet her at TwitchCon. The point was clear from the message. Case solved, gang.
The Doc counters: Whether this allegation is true or not is not yet known. But the fact is that such serious allegations are now being made. Whether true or not, such allegations can have a strong impact on a person’s reputation, so we should wait and see how the situation develops. If it is not true, then one could expect Dr Disrespect to take legal action against it. At the moment, however, the doctor is defending himself with a counter-claim:
I understand that this is a hot topic at the moment. But everything has been clarified. No wrongdoing was found and the agreed amount was paid out.
It remains exciting to see what happens next in the Dr Disrespect case. Serious allegations are in the air that will probably not simply disappear overnight. Streamers keep attracting attention, including Mellstroy – the streamer who sabotaged the CL final.
