The Fernweh Pop Up Bar in the Badibeizli in Langnau is the largest public viewing in the Emmental. All games on the big screen directly in the Badi Langnau.

Three years ago, Till Brand and his team took over the Badibeizli in Langnau. They are constantly organizing larger and smaller projects. The public viewing of the men’s European Football Championship this summer is the largest project to date. “It really is a lot of work and we had to start early on to obtain all the permits,” said Till Brand in a neo1 interview. “Fortunately, we already know the processes well and know who we need to talk to.”

They rented the big screen from a local technician. “We have to fill the public viewing area well so that we can cover the costs. We also hope that it can make up for the bad first month at the Badibeiz,” Till Brand continued. The cool and often wet weather has attracted only a few visitors to the Badibeiz in Langnau. Like many swimming pools in the region, this leaves an empty wallet.

Both sides confirm that the collaboration with Badi Langnau is working very well. Till Brand and his team can always rely on the openness of the pool team. “At first I couldn’t imagine much about the idea,” says head lifeguard Ruedi Liechti. “But now I think it’s great and I’ve only heard good things from the pool guests.”
