WKU Women’s looks to extend its win streak to four games Thursday as it hosts the Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters.

The Lady Toppers come into the game red hot, taking down Middle Tennessee State at home Saturday to win their third straight game and bringing their record to 12-5.

Junior guard Josie Gilvin led the way in the win against the Blue Raiders with 17 points and six rebounds, a season-high.

The Lady Toppers have been effective on the defensive end, holding 12 of their 17 opponents under 70 points and having an 11-1 record in those games.

Louisiana Tech is fresh off an 11-point win over Kennesaw State at home, bringing their record to 11-6. The Lady Techsters have four players averaging double digits, led by senior guard Robyn Lee, who averages 13.4 points a game.

The game against the Lady Techsters is the annual Education Game, which children from local schools attend.

“It’s a great day for our kids and a great day for our schools,” Head Coach Greg Collins said. “We’re always excited for the kids to come in here, it’s fun for the kids to be here and we appreciate all the effort it takes from the school system to get them here. It creates a fun environment.”

Tipoff is set for 11 am on ESPN+.
