Carlo Ancelotti spoke at a press conference ahead of Real Madrid’s Champions League match against RB Salzburg.

Real Madrid has encountered difficulties this season, despite somewhat good results that keep them in contention for every trophy.

However, Ancelotti has revealed what will be the key to Real Madrid’s success this season.

“We have to split up. In attack we are playing very well in terms of goals and play,” Ancelotti initially said when asked about the level at which the team is playing.

“We need to improve a lot in defense. That will be the key to success this season.”

“If we can improve defensively, we will fight until the end in all competitions,” concluded the Real Madrid coach. /Telegraph/
