Saudis promise to pay R$2 billion to take Vini Jr from Real Madrid

Al-Ahli, from Saudi Arabia, intends to offer a mere 350 million euros (R$2.1 billion) to take Vinicius Jr. from Real Madrid in the mid-year window. The information was given by English journalist Ben Jacobs in a podcast from Givemesport.

According to Jacobs' findings, There is a “very real” possibility of Brazilians swapping Spanish football for Saudi football.

This is not the first time that Vini Jr.'s name has been speculated in Saudi Arabia. In August 2024, the merengue number 7 would have received an offer of 1 billion euros (R$6 billion at the time) in wages and gloves for a 5-year contract, according to the The Athletic.
