“Queen” of Saint-Marcellin and ambassador of Lyon gastronomy, Renée Richard, daughter of the famous “Mother Richard”, died this Sunday, January 19.

She was an essential personality of the Halles Paul Bocuse. Renée Richard, daughter of the famous Mother Richard who had the same first name, died this Sunday, January 19 at the age of 74, after long months of fighting illness.

The one who did not intend to work in cheese, will ultimately have inherited her mother's know-how and carried the colors of the family business and its inseparable Saint-Marcellin.

With this very famous Saint-Marcellin stamped with the name of “Mother Richard”, Renée will have contributed to promoting Lyon's gastronomy, in the wake of her mother who died in 2014.
