Emergency services provided assistance to members of the same family.

The Bolquère mountain rescue CRS were called to intervene this Sunday, January 19, 2025, in the early evening.

A family was declared “in distress” by rescuers in the Carança gorges, in the town of Thuès-entre-Valls in Conflent.

Left without warm clothing or light, the four members of this family, accompanied by their dog, called for help as night began to fall.

The Dragon 66 civil security helicopter, with firefighters and mountain police on board, took off this Sunday evening to help them.
