The project had been in the works for some time now. The Metropolis was going to build a college in Rillieux-la-Pape.

At the start of the discussions, the town of Sathonay-Camp had been approached to host the school. Mayor Damien Monnier (various center) confirms this: “The land for the former command hotel had been proposed, but it turned out to be too small.”
