The best skiers have already completed both official training sessions in Wengen, and they still have a day off before the competition schedule begins. Skiers will first have a super-giant slalom on Friday, followed by a classic downhill on Saturday at the same time. On Sunday, there will be a slalom in Wengen, where Slovenia will not have a representative. That is why they will compete in the super giant slalom and downhill Martin Čater, Miha Hrobat in Nejc Naraločnikwho once again confirmed their exceptional form at the official downhill training sessions. At training, all three were among the top 16. The best ninth was Čater, for whom Wengen is particularly suitable, and in training Naraločnik impressed with his 11th time, thus indicating that he is ready for his first points in the World Cup.
“We had some rest after Bormio, which suited me very well. Then we had a training session with the Italians and the Swiss, where we had two days of really high-quality training and one day a little less. Now we are in Wengen, where the track looks really exceptional. This year they made a lot of effort and everything will last very well until the games,” said the first skier of the Slovenian national team for the official website of the SZS Miha Hrobat.
“After Bormio, we had some rest over the New Year. After the New Year, we had a set of fitness preparations to regain our strength a little. We had three more days of ski training in Sarental, where two days were really excellent and one day was a little worse.
