The “Wolverine” star seems to have finished with ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness, 69, with whom he was married for 27 years. In the meantime, she lets their daughter comfort her.

A few hours after Hugh Jackman was spotted kissing his new flame in the car in front of a US burger restaurant and the pictures hit the press, Deborra-Lee Furness shows up at the Australian Open. The couple’s 19-year-old adopted daughter, Ava Jackman, can be seen at her side.
She seems to give her mother support after the separation. During the match between the two US players Emma Navarro, 23, and Peyton Stearns, 23, mother and daughter sit next to each other in the stands. Their close relationship becomes clear when Ava places her head on Deborra-Lee Furness’s shoulder, who in turn lovingly strokes her daughter’s cheek.

As painful as the separation was for the 69-year-old, she still felt a certain relief, it was recently said from those around her. She had long suspected that something was brewing between her husband and his Broadway colleague. “She is now finally reassured and relieved after receiving confirmation that her fears and suspicions were justified,” a source told Daily Mail.
In September 2023, Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness announced their end of marriage after 27 years. “We were blessed to spend nearly three decades as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. We have decided to separate in order to move forward individually,” they said in a joint statement at the time.
