Ariane facing her biggest phobia
At the Mistral, Vadim chats with one of his friends and gives him a book on Dracula. The young man, in turn, wants to give him a gift, but the present seems to have disappeared from the backpack. Suddenly, we hear Barbara shouting in the distance: “What is that?”
A few minutes later, at the police station, Patrick announces to Morgane that she must go to Mistral for intervention. And for good reason, there is a snake in the kitchen. Ariane must also accompany her, but the latter has a phobia of snakes.
Arriving on the scene, Ariane takes Kilian's statement. For her part, Morgane takes care of Aya's. She asks him about the snake and Morgane discovers that the reptile is not venomous. More fear than harm for the inhabitants of the Mistral.
Eric defends Bahram
At the Pavilion of Flowers, Bahram informs Eric and Blanche that his request to stay has been refused. The reason? The court considers that he is not in danger in his native country due to his homosexuality.
Blanche advises the undocumented migrant to apply for asylum, but he refuses to have his sexual orientation revealed to his loved ones. Instead, he prefers to contact a smuggler for Spain. Eric refuses to let his friend down and immediately goes to the prefecture.
Later, Eric is thrown out by the prefecture security guards. Blanche tries to calm her down, but he is furious as ever. He said to his friend: “It’s unfair, this decision they made.” Will he admit defeat?
Thomas is heartbroken
It's a big day for Mistralians: this January 8, 2025, it's been a year since the bar-restaurant opened its doors after the collapse. If for Barbara (Léa François), it's party time, for the owner of the place, Thomas (Laurent Kérusoré), it's a completely different story.
The reason? Thomas keeps thinking about his relationship with Gabriel. He informs his best friend that he has started couples therapy and that he has never felt so close to his partner… Is he about to forgive her?
Thomas finds Gabriel on the Place du Mistral. The latter offers him a very beautiful life project: supporting children in foster families who need love at all stages of their lives. Thomas is touched by her husband's proposal.
When he arrives home, Thomas discovers that Baptiste wants to postpone his return to Australia in order to help him save his relationship. Thomas is against this and takes the opportunity to announce to his son that he is in therapy with his husband.
For his part, Gabriel Riva is once again contacted by the thug. The latter orders him to watch over one of his men who has had an alcoholic coma and to stay by his side during the night. Gabriel accepts, on the condition of going to his therapy session, but the thug refuses.
At the same time, we discover Thomas waiting for his husband to meet him for the session. The therapist asks him if he is ready to give his relationship a second chance, and he answers: “Non”. He settles the session and decides to cancel all the following ones.
At the end of the day, Barbara and Kilian prepare the Mistral's birthday. Thomas arrives, but he is not in good spirits. He informs his brother and his best friend that Gabriel didn't come to the meeting and that he doesn't feel like partying.
Barbara and Kilian try to cheer him up, but Thomas refuses to make the slightest effort, to the point where he makes a radical decision: cancel the Mistral festival…
