Two boats, one of which was carrying Marine Le Pen, collided on Tuesday January 7 in Mayotte, causing 10 injuries according to the local press, but the leader of the RN deputies was unhurt.
Marine Le Pen, present on the barge in Mayotte at the time of the collision on Tuesday, was finally able to reach Petite-Terre thanks to a border police zodiac to take her return flight, AFP journalists noted on site.

“The maneuver to turn was inevitably going to throw the bottom of his barge onto ours, it hit quite hard. Many people were lucky in their misfortune”declared Ms. Le Pen, who clarified that “the chief mechanic was injured” and that he had probably “broken one or two ribs… or three for that matter”.
The RN clarified that no member of the delegation accompanying Ms. Le Pen had been injured.
This accident paralyzed the rotations of the barges for more than an hour, AFP journalists noted.
