Riot Games has kicked off the year with a tone of updates regarding Valorant as Season 2025 will introduce a new Initiator called Tejo, a new type of item called FLEX, the EX.O Bundle, a new battle pass, among other exciting changes.
While the EX.O Bundle has stolen the show in terms of cosmetics released in Season 2025’s Act 1, esports fans will be glad to know that the return of the VCT Team Capsules is just around the corner.
Here’s everything you need to know about the VCT 2025 Team Capsules:
Release date
While a release date hasn’t been unveiled yet, we expect the VCT 2025 Team Capsules to be introduced to the game with the release of Season 2025, which will kick off on January 7 or January 8, depending on your location.
Valorant’s 2025 esports season will officially begin on January 11 with the first matches of the VCT 2025 China Kickoff. Therefore, it would make sense to release the VCT Team Capsules right before the start of the esports calendar.
Skins
The VCT 2025 Team Capsules have been leaked by the popular Valorant leaker @ValorLeaks. The graphics were posted on their official X account.
The skins included in the VCT 2025 Team Capsules are exclusive to Valorant’s Classic. The bundles also include a player card themed by a Valorant team.
Unlike in the VCT 2024 Team Capsules, where each team designed its player card, all of the player cards included in the VCT 2025 Team Capsules have a default design that’s just slightly tweaked according to the team’s colors and logo.
