Eurovision, “Dancing with the Stars”…
This doesn’t stop Loïc from working on a series of projects. In 2015, he signed with Sony Music and was immediately selected to represent Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest which took place in Vienna, Austria. Her Rhythm Inside – written in collaboration with BJ Scott – hits the mark and allows him to qualify for the final, where he will ultimately place 4th.
Anyone who thinks that he will disappear from the screens after the competition is wrong… Loïc caught the eye of the production of Dancing with the stars, following a tweet from dancer and choreographer Marie-Claude Pietragalla who congratulated him after his performance. So here he is in the sixth season of the TF1 show and no one imagines what will follow: Loïc Nottet, despite a notoriety still to be built in France, wins the competition alongside the dancer Denitsa Ikonomova, by putting together incredible performances. He notably obtained the maximum score of 160 during the final (a first in the show) and is still the winner who obtained the most votes from the public (68%).
He rode on this success by publishing his first album Selfocracy on March 31, 2017. This album will be followed by Sillygomania (2020) et Addictocrate (2023). He also returns in The Voice Belgium as a coach in 2021.
In February 2024, to celebrate his ten years of career, he will give a grandiose concert at the ING Arena in Brussels. This new documentary looks back on his journey, thanks to numerous archive images but also interviews with the artist where he opens up like never before and shares his doubts. We can also follow him behind the scenes as he prepares for his concert. A journey beyond the looking glass, to the other side of the glitter of show biz.
