“Hi it’s Sarah, what does it say?”
This Monday, January 6, Nicolas Sarkozy will attend the opening of the trial into the alleged Libyan financing of his 2007 campaign. He is on trial alongside 11 other people, including three of his former ministers, and risks 10 years in prison. A corruption case worthy of a thriller.
A third influencer was arrested in three days, this Sunday in Montpellier. In a video posted on Tiktok, he called for attacking Algerian anti-regime activist Mohamed Tadjadit. This Friday, two other Algerian influencers were arrested in Brest and Grenoble. One will be tried on February 24 for advocating terrorism, the other will appear this Monday for direct provocation to an act of terrorism.
Ski jumper Selina Freitag denounced last week the wage inequalities between men and women in the world of skiing. During the Two Nights Tour, in Garmisch Partenkirchen (Germany), she came first in the qualifications, and only received shower gel, shampoo and towels as a reward. For the same performance, men receive more than 3,000 euros.
