The Pleasantville girls and boys Basketball teams fell to Lynnville-Sully on the road Saturday night in a non-conference varsity doubleheader.
The Trojan girls fell to the #13 Hawks 56-51 in a close contest. Pleasantville was up 20-12 at the end of the first quarter and 29-18 at halftime. The Trojans were outscored by the Hawks by 16 points in the second half as the game slipped away. Pleasantville was led in scoring by Joelle Johnson who had 19 points and Taylor Perkins who had 15. The girls team falls to 6-3 overall.
The boys team was outscored in all four quarters and fell to the Hawks 60-36. Pleasantville was led in scoring by Braylon Bingham who had 17 points. The Trojan boys fall to 3-4 overall. The Pleasantville girls will be back in action on Monday against Clarke and the boys will next compete on Thursday at Colfax-Mingo along with the girls.
