During New Year's Eve, on the night of January 1, 2025, the festivities turned into drama. Three people were stabbed in a residence in Isola 2000, a ski resort near Nice (Alpes-Maritimes), reveals Nice-Morning.

Information confirmed by the public prosecutor, Damien Martinelli, who indicates that the suspect, aged 18, went to the gendarmerie this Wednesday afternoon.

Two victims seriously injured

As we celebrated the New Year, a tragedy unfolded in a residence in the highest ski resort in the Alpes-Maritimes. This Wednesday, January 1, 2025, three people were injured with knives, two of them seriously, according to information from Nice-Morning confirmed by firefighters at news Nice.

The victims would be elderly about twenty years old. They were transported to the emergency room of Pasteur hospital in Nice. The events allegedly occurred in an apartment in a building located on the snow front, at the bottom of the slopes, around 2 a.m.

The suspect is 18 years old

The suspect suffers from psychiatric disorders and fled, before going himself to the gendarmerie this Sunday, the Nice prosecutor said in a press release. He was taken into custody for « tentative d’homicide ».
