ARCHBISHOP SHAW HIGH SCHOOL CONFIRMED ALUM HUBERT GAUTREAUX DIED IN TODAY’S ATTACK. GAUTREAUX GRADUATED FROM SHAW IN 2021, 2020 PRINCETON GRADUATE RYAN QUIGLEY WAS ALSO INJURED. THIS IS ACCORDING TO A SPOKESPERSON FROM QUIGLEY’S HIGH SCHOOL AT LANSDALE CATHOLIC IN PENNSYLVANIA. FORMER SAINT THOMAS MORE CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL STANDOUT ATHLETE TIGER BESH DIED IN THE ATTACK. THE SCHOOL SAID BESH WAS A STANDOUT FOOTBALL, LACROSSE AND TRACK AND FIELD ATHLETE. THE OWNER OF KIMMIE’S DELI AT LAKE WAY IN METAIRIE CONFIRMED THAT THEIR MANAGER, NICOLE PEREZ, DIED. PEREZ HAD JUST BEEN PROMOTED AND HAD WORKED AT THE DELI FOR SEVERAL YEARS. PEREZ HAS A FOUR YEAR OLD SON. A MISSISSIPPI TEEN HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED AS ANOTHER VICTIM. FAMILY MEMBERS IDENTIFIED AKIRA DEDEAUX AS ONE OF THE VICTIMS KILLED IN THE ATTACK AT EPISCOPAL SCHOOL OF BATON ROUGE, CONFIRMS THAT ONE FORMER STUDENT WAS INJURED AND ANOTHER DIED, ACCORDING TO A STATEMENT ISSUED BY THE SCHOOL.
