Tomorrow belongs to us: what awaits you in episode 1848 of Wednesday January 1, 2025 [SPOILERS] – News Series on TV

Thursday January 1st in Tomorrow Belongs to Us…

Aurore is undercover

At the police station, Aurore tells Martin that she was followed the day before at lunchtime. Manon interrupts them, reproaching her mother for lying to her about her New Year's Eve program the day before. Indeed, Manon knows about her evening with Achille. Aurore retorts that it’s none of her business.

Martin decides to call them both into his office. He explains to Manon that his mother is seeing Achille as part of an infiltration. Achille seduces women for their money and they try to corner him by catching him in the act. Only Karim among the police knows about it. Martin emphasizes that it is imperative to keep this mission secret.

Meanwhile, William finds Samuel and Gloria at the Spoon and tells them about the fiasco of the day before. He actually surprised Aurore on Achilles' arm, apparently close. But William declares that he is not going to be impressed by his competitor.

For her part, Aurore finds Achille in town and purposely mentions the money she earns by making him believe that she works as a reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgeon. After which, Achille invites her to lunch, which she accepts.

Back at the police station, Aurore tells Karim that Achille paid in cash at the restaurant. She hopes to be able to catch him soon because she admits that he disgusts her. At the same time, she notices that William is in front of the police station. He came to offer her his best wishes for 2025. He takes the opportunity to tell her that he surprised her with another man the day before. Aurore replies that she needs space.

Aurore then returns inside the police station where Karim makes sure she is okay. Aurore admits that she doesn't want to lose William. She fears that her mission will go too far. But she absolutely wants to finish it.

Later, Manon blames her mother for hurting her father by keeping his mission a secret. Aurore confides that this does not make her happy because she still cares about William and that she regrets having asked for a divorce. But Aurore does not want to abandon her mission.

In the evening, Manon meets her father at Spoon. The latter declares that everything is over with Aurore since she is seeing another man. So he signed the divorce papers. Refusing to let her parents' story end like that, Manon grabs the papers and tears them up…

Timothée surprises Rachel in the shower

When he wakes up, Bart discovers that Timothée is having a seizure. Indeed, Rachel did not respect the roommate's rules this morning and took the bathroom first. So much so that Timothée accidentally opened the door and saw her naked, from behind. He quickly closed the door so she wouldn't notice anything. Bart advises him not to talk about it.

At the police station, Roxane notices that Timothée made a mistake in his work, which never happens to him. She suspects him of being disturbed and ends up guessing what happened.

At the end of the day, Rachel picks up dinner at Spoon. Bart gives him the lasagna to take away. Once Rachel leaves, Audrey can't help but tease Bart, convinced that he is in love with her roommate.

In the evening, during dinner, Rachel confronts Timothée because he is still so disturbed. He tells her what happened in the morning. Rachel isn't uncomfortable and promises to be careful next time.

Joël wants to make a proposal to Mona

At the Spoon, Mona admits to Bart that she didn't sleep all night the night before. Bart suspects her of having made love with Joël, but Mona reveals that she spent the night watching a series.

During the day, Joël stops by the Spoon and asks Bart if Mona is sad that he doesn't watch the series with her. Indeed, he suspects Mona of wanting him to become more involved in their relationship.

Later, Mélody confides to Georges that Joël plans to ask Mona to live with him. Georges thinks that it is much too early and that Joël risks becoming disillusioned with the Mona of everyday life.
