Slimane dismissed after serious accusations
Slimane, known for his notable performances in The Voice and its collaborations with Vitaa (which also spoke out on the matter), will not be part of the next season of The Voice Kids. This decision comes in a complicated context for the artist. Indeed, Slimane is the subject accusations of sexual harassment and assaultcomplaints leading to the opening of a preliminary investigation on November 7. Although TF1 production has not officially confirmed that these accusations are the origin of this ouster, they sparked a wave of reactions on social networks.
The singer has, for the moment, not reacted publicly to these allegations nor to his departure from the show. A silence which further fuels speculation, with some fans believing that TF1's decision could be linked to a desire to preserve the image of the program. Indeed, it could be that the channel has learned a lesson from the recent Vitaa concert which sparked controversy and a boycott on the part of technicians, due to the presence of the artist. However, the case remains ongoing, and no judgment has yet been rendered.
Claudio Capéo also replaced: a surprise for the fans
Another singer has not been renewed for the next season of the telecrochet, it is Claudio Capéo. Unlike Slimane, the artist is not involved in legal cases, and the reasons for his replacement remain unclear. This decision surprised his fans, especially since his energy and warm style were very appreciated on the set.
At the same time, speculation about future jurors is rife. Names well known to viewers of The Voice are already circulating: Jenifer, Amel Bent, Kendji Girac, or even Julien Doré could take over the red chairs left vacant. The final casting will be revealed before the start of filming, planned for spring 2025. One thing is certain: this 12th edition, scheduled for September 2025, promises to be full of surprises.
