Sean Dyche has made two changes to his Everton starting lineup for the Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s team have made their way to Goodison Park on Sunday (29 December), with the Dyche opting to start Armado Broja for the first time, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin axed from the XI.

The Toffees are coming off a 1-1 draw against Manchester City on Boxing Day, and the Toffees manager has decided to drop Seamus Coleman in favour of Ashley Young, who returns from suspension.

The rest of the team remains unchanged as the Merseyside outfit look to continue their unbeaten streak in the league.

Broja signed on loan in the summer from Chelsea and has been on the sidelines due to injury before recently making his debut off the bench, but the former Burnley head coach has dropped Calvert-Lewin to the bench in favour of the Albanian.

With the Blues 15th in the English top flight, a win over the Tricky Trees could take them further away from the relegation zone.

Dyche turned the tide in December and the noise around his future in the Goodison dugout has died out to a certain extent.

The Englishman pulled off some unexpected results at Everton against Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City, taking points off all three of them.

As things stand, the Toffees are still only three points ahead of 18th-place Leicester ahead of kickoff and they can’t take their foot off the gas.

Forest have surprised many in the current campaign and are sitting in the top four going into January, which is an impressive feat.

Dyche’s conservative approach to games has proven fruitful in terms of the scorelines in the last few fixtures, and the Blues will once again likely look to be resolute against the Tricky Trees.

In other Everton news, an official offer for a Turkish winger is being readied ahead of the January transfer window.
