What restaurants, fast food are open on Christmas Day?

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah! We made it to Dec. 25 — hopefully you are surrounded by family and loved ones on this day.

But during your celebrations, did you realize you forgot something important? Or, did your holiday meal somehow get ruined?

While most grocery stores and restaurants are closed on Christmas Day, you’re not completely out of luck if you need to run out to pick up a last-minute ingredient for your holiday recipe or some food to feed everyone.

If you want a cup of coffee or last-minute groceries on Christmas Day, there are some stores that will be open, but expect limited hours at those that stay open.

Dunkin’, Denny’s, IHOP and Waffle House locations will be open, though it’s best to call ahead and double-check with your local store before showing up.
