Santos won two titles in the youth categories this Saturday. Peixe was champion of the Buh Cup in the under-14 and under-16 categories.
The older players beat Barcelona Capela 4-1 and ended the tournament with 100% success. Vinícius Fabri, Lorenzo de Paula, Dudu Gimenes and Samuel Pierri scored the black and white goals. With 15 goals, striker João Grando was the top scorer in the category.
Under the command of coach Elder Campos, Peixe won the final with Arthur do Vale (Danilo Silva); Guilherme Cruz, Pedro Murça, Bruno Gabriel and Yuri Soares (Ryan Brayan); Cabelo, Benício (Samuel Pierri) and Vinícius Fabri (Darlan); Damásio (Garcia), Lorenzo de Paula (Davi Santos) and João Grando (Dudu Gimenes).
The under-14s beat the BJP 6-1. The scorers were Isaac Miranda (twice), Kayky, Tiago Barros, João Lucas and Bernardo Silveira. Isaac Miranda and João Lucas finished the competition as top scorers, with five balls in the net each.
The team led by coach Índio was champion with Thiago Vasconcelos (Lucas Gabriel); João Padovan (Marcos Capoeira), Marcello (Davis William), Arthur Paraná and Kayky (Tiago Barros); Arthur Galdino (João Lucas), Bernardo Silveira (Caique Santos) and Juan Xavi (Arthur Lima); Pedro Queiroz (Thiago Saldanha), Isaac Miranda and Kauã Siviero (Ignacio).
With these achievements, the Meninos da Vila reach four Buh Cup titles in 2024, being winners in the under-11, under-12, under-14 and under-16 categories.
