Apple Music has revealed end-of-year 2024 data, an opportunity to reflect on the musical trends that have marked these twelve months.
Between streaming, Shazam, radio broadcasts and lyric readings, the charts tell a story full of successes and news. From Rose Villain, dominatrix in Italy with COMME UN THUNDER (feat. Guè)to Kendrick Lamar, who with Not like us asserts itself as a world leader, 2024 was a year of strong female presence and new debuts in the international charts.
IN ITALY
In our country, COME UN TUONO (feat. Guè) by Rose Villain ranks at the top of the Apple Music Top 10, followed by Mahmood with TUTA GOLD and Lazza with 100 MESSAGGI.
Sanremo is confirmed as an important musical showcase: in the ranking we find Angelina Mango with La Noia and Annalisa with Sincerely. The women also shine thanks to Gaia (SEX AND SAMBA, with Tony Effe) and ANNA (30°C).

WORLD RANKINGS
Internationally, Kendrick Lamar triumphs with Not Like Us, while Benson Boone (Beautiful Things) and Sabrina Carpenter (Espresso) confirm the success of the new generation.
Taylor Swift places seven songs in the world Top 100, including Cruel Summer, fifth in the charts. The women reach a record number of 39 songs, marking a turning point in female representation.
In the Shazam realm, Benson Boone is dominating the global charts with Beautiful Things. In second place is Teddy Swims with Lose Control, while new names like FloyyMenor, CYRIL and Artemas characterize the top 5, testifying to the openness to new sounds and talents.

In addition to charts, Apple Music offers the new Replay 2024 experience, which allows users to explore their listening habits with detailed statistics, personalized playlists and monthly highlights. Available directly in the app, Replay also allows artists to share their acts with their fans through Apple Music for Artists.
Those with an iPhone running iOS 18.1 or later can access the Replay 2024 experience directly from the Home, What's New, and Search panels in the Apple Music app. Those with an older version of iOS can still access it via the replay.music.apple.com microsite on mobile or desktop. All information* on Replay is optimized for sharing with family and friends, on social media or any messaging platform.
Replay 2024 audience statistics include:
- Top 100, 500, 1000 listeners: now the user can know not only if they are among the top 100 listeners of their favorite artists or genres, as was already possible in past years, but also if they have reached the top 500 or the Top 1000.
- Listening days: now the user can know what is the maximum number of consecutive days in which he has listened to something on Apple Music.
- Monthly recovery: the user can relive their year by rediscovering the most listened to songs, artists and albums of each month of 2024.
- Best Artists Series: based on the most listened to music of each month, the user can now know their loyalty as a fan (this data is only available when the artist remains number 1 for several consecutive months).
- Date of first listening: the user can find out when he first heard the most listened to song, artist and album of the year.
The Replay 2024 mix brings together all the most listened to songs during the year. To rediscover those from the past, simply browse the Replay mix series for each year of Apple Music subscription. And the Replay archives help you find the best content from months and years past.
The Apple Music Replay experience is available year-round with monthly statistics and is updated through the end of December, so music lovers can continue to listen, explore and share.
Starting this year, male and female artists can also celebrate their musical year and use the Replay feature available in the Apple Music for Artists dashboard to share listening information.
Statistics include:
- Total minutes: the total number of minutes Apple Music subscribers spent listening to their music in 2024.
- Total number of listeners: the total number of Apple Music subscribers who listened to their music in 2024.
- Main cities: the cities where their music was most listened to
- Best Shazams: the most Shazamed song of the year.
Those who qualify and have an Apple Music for Artists account can access their Replay information. You can also share videos and images of your stats by uploading content available in the Apple Music for Artist web app and the app for iOS devices.
The new Replay 2024 experience offers a full suite of features designed for Apple Music users, including personalized playlists and stations, collaborative playlists, and Apple Music Sing.
- The collaborative playlists they allow multiple people to collaborate on the same playlist and react to songs with an emoji. People with an Apple Music subscription can collaborate on playlists with family and friends. And each user can invite others to select and edit tracks, and even react with an emoji to specific songs.
- To be Music station to discover is a personalized radio station that selects music based on the user's tastes from more than 100 million songs in the Apple Music catalog. The station is constantly updated, so listeners can enjoy an endless stream of music tailored to their preferences. And if musical tastes change and evolve over time, so does the station.
