Nicolas Barré, editorial director and former editorial director of Les Echos for more than 10 years, will join Politico (Axel Springer group) next January. He will thus take charge of the editorial team (25 journalists in ) of the pure player dedicated to politics, public policies and power. This arrival intends to “expand Politico's footprint beyond its current bases, thus consolidating its role as the essential media for political and economic decision-makers across the continent and the world”, according to a press release. Mr. Barré succeeds Marion Solletty, who takes on new responsibilities as “Editor at Large”, a newly created position to support the development of Politico on all its media. In this capacity, “she will write on major French and European issues while leading strategic projects in collaboration with all Politico teams,” he continues. This includes in particular partnerships and the development of the events offer in . Ms. Solletty will work closely with Nicolas Barré, Pauline de Saint Remy, and the entire editorial team to “ensure continuity and innovation”.
