The draw for the 32nd finals of the 2024-2025 Coupe de France was made Monday evening at the Parc des Princes in Paris. The meetings will take place the weekend of Saturday December 21.
The draw for the 32nd finals of this 108th edition of the Coupe de France inevitably delighted fans of beautiful posters. They will be served on December 20, 21 and 22 with, for the entry into the running of the eighteen elite teams, a first clash between RC Lens and Paris Saint-Germain, holder of the trophy and current leader of the League 1.
French defender Griedge Mbock and international handball player Elohim Prandi, both licensed to PSG (photo above), invited to this draw, thus had a heavy hand for their colors. And they didn't stop there, also designating a promising AS Saint-Étienne-Olympique de Marseille, another 100% L1 opposition.
Saint-Jean, princely draw
They also “spoiled” Union Saint-Jean (R1), new Petit Poucet Intermarché of the event, scorer (2-1) of FC Versailles (N) in the 8th round. The Hauts-Garonnais will host AS Monaco (3rd in L1). Another R1 resident, AS Still Mutzig will also host an L1 team, Stade de Reims.
For their part, Tours FC (R1) and SA Mérignacais (R1) will have the visit of two L2s, Lorient and Laval.
As for the last two representatives from Overseas, the Martinique club RC Joseph (R1), qualified at the expense of La Roche-sur-Yon ESO VF (N3) on Saturday in Vendée (3-1), will return to mainland France for challenge SC Bastia (L2), while the Reunionese FC Saint-Denis (R1) will go to SU Dives Cabourg (N3).
