According to Maes' entourage, contacted by the media Ouest , another show by the rapper, scheduled for December 7 at the Swiss festival The Beat, in Lausanne, will also be canceled.

Sentenced to 10 months in prison and a fine of 10,000 euros

Prosecuted for acts of violence in meetings in 2018 after leaving a Parisian recording studio, the rapper Maes was sentenced on June 5, in his absence, to 10 months in prison and a fine of 10,000 euros by the Paris criminal court.

The 29-year-old artist, who lives in Dubai “for the sun” according to his lawyer, had already been the subject of a trial in October 2023, but he had already not come to court, forcing the French justice to issue an arrest warrant against him.
