It is probably one of the biggest lottery fails this year. There was a major error in the recent Euromillions draw. The wrong numbers were actually communicated. Understandably, this caused a lot of confusion among players.
Some people have probably already thrown away their betting slip out of anger at not having won. The current draw was about one of the biggest prizes in the history of the lottery. This has now turned to all players.
Lotto blunder! Lottery gets the numbers wrong
A whopping £177 million was up for grabs in Tuesday’s (November 27) draw. The equivalent of a good 212 million euros is the third largest prize in the history of the British lottery. So far, only two larger jackpots have been won in 2022: almost 185 million pounds in May and 195 million in July.

One lucky winner could now look forward to this life-changing sum. However, the lottery made a faux pas when announcing the numbers. So an additional number was unexpectedly added to the back of the draw. The players were accordingly confused. Because nobody would actually have won that way.

Lottery is aimed at players
Euromillions then asked all players to check their tickets again – now based on the corrected winning numbers. These are: 07, 11, 25, 31 and 40 with the additional numbers 09 and 12. We can only hope that the players haven’t already thrown away their notes. Due to the mishap, it is not yet known whether – and if so – who won the sum of 177 million pounds.

However, the money would immediately make the person richer than, for example, One Direction star Harry Styles, as the “Sunday Times Rich List” shows. This is said to be worth around 175 million pounds. “The win has earned him a place on the National Lottery rich list, as he has become the third biggest National Lottery winner of all time!” she says enthusiastically. “What a wonderful win just before Christmas and we can’t wait to cash out this amazing win.”

Gambling can be addictive. If gambling behavior gets out of control and becomes a substitute for other personal problems, it can develop into pathological behavior and even gambling addiction. It is no longer just about spontaneous leisure time, but the game suddenly takes on questionable functions: avoiding fear, panic, depression and other negative feelings or avoiding problems.
