And as the innovations of recent months have no longer revolutionized the market as it may have done in recent years, we even advise you to opt for an earlier model at a reasonable price rather than falling for the latest model at price raised. The reduction percentages are indicated in relation to the official selling price when the watch was released.
Here is our selection of good deals for Black Friday
The Suunto Race at €399 (-11%)
Excellent value for money for this watch, which was later also available in a smaller model, the Suunto Race S (see the editorial review). An Amoled screen, mapping, a touch screen and 49 mm, it is a watch positioned in the mid-range price level but which has everything to overshadow the high-end from Garmin. If its reduction is “only” 11%, it is a very recent watch and which already benefited from a very attractive price.
The Garmin Forerunner 955 Solar at 399 euros (-33%)
The 955 is the best watch for road running (or triathlon), provided you consider that not benefiting from an Amoled screen is not a problem for you (see the review of the Forerunner 955 by the editorial staff). Lighter and more discreet than a Fenix, the Foreruner 955 Solar has as many tools and qualities as its outdoor cousin. At this price, it’s a bargain.
The Garmin Forerunner 255 at €249 (-28%)
For regular road running, the Garmin Forerunner is a great purchase. No Amoled screen or cartography with background map but, for the rest, this watch allows you to do everything you need on a daily basis to train and progress. The price difference with the more qualitative Forerunner 955 Solar may nevertheless make you hesitate.
The Garmin Fenix 7 at €449 (-25%)
A Garmin Fenix 7 for less than €450 is an opportunity. If the very recent Fenix 8 sells for almost €1,000 or more, the Fenix 7 is not an outdated watch (although there is the Pro version between the 7 and the 8). Designed for trail and outdoor running, with incredible autonomy and great durability, the Fenix 7 remains a companion of choice for your (ultra) trails, with the on-board map in particular. No Amoled screen obviously at this price.
The Garmin Epix Gen 2 Sapphire Titanium at €449 (-42%)
The Epix was positioned as a Fenix 7 with Amoled screen. And sold slightly more expensive at the time. Today, while the Fenix 8 has undoubtedly buried an evolution of this model, it is available at €449. Or the same price as that offered for a Fenix 7, with an additional Amoled screen (but therefore less autonomy). An opportunity to seize.
The Garmin Enduro 2 Sapphire Solar Titanium at €549 (-45%)
The Enduro 2 is the watch designed for running, trail or outdoors with the greatest autonomy in the range, as its name suggests. It actually has the same features as the Fenix 7X Sapphire Solar Titanium (with map but without Amoled screen) while offering greater autonomy. That is 150 hours with GPS activated or 48 days in smartwatch mode. If such extreme battery life is a deciding factor for you, the price is attractive. If not, opt for a Fenix 7X or another high-end model.
The Polar Pacer Pro at €299 (-34%)
Polar watches, during their last release, struggled to overshadow other players on the market. The Pacer Pro, big sister of the Polar Pacer (see the editorial review here) which is both qualitative and versatile, is a model to take into account if you are looking for a mid-range watch that can meet your essential needs in terms of ‘training. At an attractive price with this Black Friday promo at €299.
The Suunto Vertical at €469 (-21%)
Robust, reliable, with enormous autonomy and qualitative mapping, the Suunto Vertical is a strong competitor to the Fenix 7 or 7 Pro range. Since the release of the Fenix 8, the price difference with previous Fenix models is no longer as significant. This remains a qualitative watch designed for outdoor and trail running at a very attractive price.
