Born on August 24, 1971 in , Rémi Féraud is a man
French politics. He obtained his baccalaureate in 1998 and continued to study management and commerce. In 1992, he obtained his diploma in
the School of Commerce before joining
Sciences-Po.

In 1998, Rémi Féraud was hired as head of
municipal communication in the services of the municipality of
Montmagny. Between 2001 and 2002, he worked for the office of the Minister of Defense, Alain Richard. Alongside his career
professional, he joined the Young Socialist Movement in
1993. The following year, he joined the Socialist Party.

Elected municipal councilor in March 2001, he became parliamentary assistant to Danièle Hoffman-Rispal, then deputy for the sixth district of Paris. On March 29, 2008, Rémi Féraud was elected mayor of the 10th arrondissement of Paris. During the 2017 senatorial elections, he was head of the PS list and was elected senator.

In December 2018, Rémi Féraud became first secretary of the Paris PS federation, after the resignation of Emmanuel Grégoire. On June 28, 2020, he was elected councilor of Paris. Four years later, the Senate adopted Rémi Féraud's bill, which aims to establish an annual count of the homeless.

For the 2026 municipal elections, Anne Hidalgo names Rémi Féraud as a potential socialist candidateable to take over.

In terms of his private life, he openly embraces his homosexuality.
