The resignation of 13 municipal councilors in recent months – the last three took place at the end of summer – forces the municipality of Rognac to organize early municipal elections.

Voters are thus convened this Sunday, November 24 for the second round in order to elect 33 municipal councilors and one community councilor.

The turnout rate for the second round at noon is 26.68%. It was 26.55% last Sunday at the same time, during the first round.

Polling stations close at 6 p.m.

During the first and final round of the 2020 municipal elections, the rate was 27.40% at noon. Polling stations close at 6 p.m.

As a reminder, Christophe Gonzalez (RN, Retrouvons Rognac list) came first in the first round last Sunday, with 32.24% of the votes.

Willy Nicollet (various right, former deputy resigned, Rognac Autre list) took second position with 29% of the votes.

The outgoing mayor, Sylvie Miceli-Houdais (UDI, Let's write the future together list), ranked in third place with 17.15% of the votes.

Finally, Maël Vala-Viaux (without label, United for Rognac list) is fourth with 14.61% of the votes.
