Incredible Rabine scenario! While the Vannetais led 29-0 after the first forty minutes of high-flying action, the Bordelais overturned everything upon returning from the locker room thanks to the contribution of their bench which sounded the revolt (29-37).
The tops
Like all of his teammates, he initially appeared apathetic in the first part of the match. With Sa, he was unable to hold off Rayasi on a charge from the winger, which later led to Vunipola's try. But in the second act, Cazeaux was essential. Author of the rebellion test at the start of the second half, he was constantly on the right track in the Bordeaux-Béglaise comeback. His scratch (51st) was very important and he moved forward again, especially after a broken arm. He scored a double after some great work from Pierre Bochaton.
“?????????” ????????? !
At the end of a match with an incredible storyline, UBB won on the Vannes pitch. A crazy success, at the end of an unexpected comeback, while Yannick Bru's men were trailing 29 to 0.

Beyond the name of the Australian, it is the entire UBB bench that Yannick Bru must warmly congratulate this Saturday evening. Whether it's Joey Carbery, Pierre Bochaton, Romain Latterade or Lachlan Swinton: they completely changed the match against Vannes. The third line had the merit of having advanced on each contact, something that UBB was sorely lacking in the first period. Also, he participated in resolving the big problem in conquest, with an intangible touch and a newfound scrum. What a feat from the replacements!
We're not going to lie, we pay for our ticket at the stadium to see this type of player. The ex-Hurricanes winger illuminated this clash with all his talent, with his offloads, his races, and even his brilliant 50:22 which led to Mako Vunipola's strong try. Salesi Rayasi hurt, very badly, the Bordeaux defense in a dream first period for the Bretons. 6 defenders in the wind, 112 meters gained, 2 crossings: brilliant stats for one of the great men of the evening. And if he could not prevent the Unionists from overturning the table, his outbursts were the only moments of hope for the people of Vannes in a second nightmare period.
The flops
If his other teammates in the back line shone in the first half before suffering the Gironde lightning, he experienced a complicated match from the first forty minutes. Involved (like Robin Taccola) in Ben Tapuai's try just before the break, he started the second act by losing an aerial duel on the kick-off. A few seconds later, Cyril Cazeaux completely restarted the game. Again, he suffered too much from the impact of Arthur Retière on his wing and could not prevent the former Toulouse player from bringing his partners back to minus ten. He did not have a positive impact when the match turned in favor of UBB.

The young hooker had a nightmarish evening. So much so that he had to come out at half-time! Caught in the physical impact like all of his teammates in the first act, Sa notably retreated greatly from a charge from Saili (10e). Just like Cazeaux, he was guilty of having released Rayasi on a charge from the winger (31e). The Vannes player took advantage of this action to cross the field and score Vunipola's try. While the UBB tried to get back to 29-0, it committed a forward while the ball was on the ground (35e) On the next action, his touch was not right… Replaced at half-time therefore, par Romain Latterade. The latter managed to advance as soon as he entered the game before Cazeaux's try. He was very clean in the winning phases which was good for the visitors.

While his team were clearly suffering from the physical domination of the Vannes, he was one of those who was unable to keep the ball against the aggressive defense of the Bretons. While trying to pass his arms at the start of the match, he let a ball escape. He is at fault with Carlü Sadie on Saili's try, with a bad placement due, undoubtedly, to poor communication. The two pillars were also caught out in the melee and generally fell back on impact.
