Victim of a burglary in December 2023 while she was sleeping with her husband Hicham Bendaoud and their children Adam, Liham and Noa, Vitaa had the fear of her life when she understood that several men armed with sticks and bats iron had entered her home in the early morning. She explains: “It was almost 6 a.m., there is everyone in the house, there was my baby, my daughter-in-law and my husband, there is everyone, there are my children sleeping in the basement and in my sleep I hear knocks, loud knocks on a door…”.
Recalling this morning with fear, she continues: “The window breaks, I'm in my nightie in front of my dressing room door, my husband comes down, he says to me: 'Call the police, go upstairs with the children'. The guys open the door and the alarm goes off goes off. In the two bedrooms upstairs, there are my daughter-in-law and my 20 month old daughter. In the story, I have my earplugs, I had kept them which causes the alarm. me i hear it less loudly. And fortunately, they were destabilized by the alarm. Thank God we had the alarm.
I had horrible thoughts
Face to face with one of the burglars, she says she saw a man “with a bat and a hood” who ordered him to “give the money”. “He gesticulates, he starts screaming and he calls his colleagues. I had horrible thoughts, I told myself that he was going to rape me, I told myself it was going to last a very long time”. Vitaa then takes her attacker into her dressing room where her jewelry is located. Calling the other men who accompanied him during this home-jacking, the attacker then begins to fill his bags with the personal effects of the singer, paralyzed and “shocked” of what is happening to him.

Fortunately, Vitaa is finally able to call for help thanks to her daughter-in-law who managed to hide her phone. “Luckily, my daughter-in-law managed to hide her phone and then I called the police, I told them 'please please, they are in the house, they are kidnapping us down'”. Finally, the police arrived “four minutes” on the scene and the men were arrested. A shocking event for the 41-year-old artist who is still traumatized from this chilling morning.
